The ABYC requires that all boats with 800 cranking amps or more have a battery switch installed. The HD-Series are rated for up to 600 Amps continuous for large diesel engines. They carry a durable case and have been designed with the harshest marine conditions in mind. This makes them perfectly suited for use in marine applications where exposure is a concern.
