Blues Sea Systems compact high-amperage switches are vapor/ignition protected and UL listed. They are designed to increase safety on a marine vessel by isolating the battery in case of fire. A battery switch such as this is required to be on boats that have more than 800 cranking amps. The E-Series are 350 Amp continuous rated for outboards, small gasoline or diesel engines. These switches carry a 525 Amps (for approximately 5 mins.) intermittent rating. All Pacer battery switches are built to handle the toughest marine conditions possible which is why you will find them on just about every larger size boat.
