What are rocker switches?

What is the difference between these rocker switches?
As we said above, the difference between rocker switches starts with whether they are single pole or double pole, but what exactly does that mean? The number of poles indicates the number of circuits that the switch in question can control. So, a single-pole rocker switch can only operate one circuit while a double pole rocker switch can operate two circuits. Now you get into whether you want the action to be momentary or not. Momentary means that once you let go of the switch, whatever action it was performing will stop. A great example of this is the horn. When you press the switch, the horn honks. Once you release it, the momentary action stops, and the horn goes quiet.

What type of protection do rocker switches carry?
Rocker switches offer a rating of IP68 (Ingress Protection 68) which means that they block a large amount of the liquid and solid contaminants that other switches cannot block out. How do I change out the switch cover?
Changing out the switch cover is a relatively simple task. Once you have the proper tool, simply slide the tool under the switch cover. Next, place your thumb over the switch cover and press the tool towards the center. The cover pops right out so that another one can be snapped in. The cover can potentially pop off if you do not place your thumb over it before using the tool.
