Pacer Junction boxes are used to enclose wire connections. This is done for many reasons but primarily to protect against short circuits and to prevent or at least contain fires. Pacer's junction boxes are made with the marine environment in mind. They are designed in accordance with the Joint Industrial Council (JIC)-USA. The box and cover are made from grey (RAL 7036), high-impact polyphenylene oxide. They also have 4 nonmetallic corner screws. Choosing the right junction box for your project is not an easy task.
