Pacer enclosures are used to encase and protect wire connections. The primary reason these are used is to protect wire connections from short circuits which can lead to a fire. Using enclosures can prevent, or at least contain fires. Pacer's enclosures are made with the marine environment in mind. This enclosure has outside dimensions of 7.32" x 7.32" and is 4.90" deep. It is designed in accordance with the Joint Industrial Council (JIC)-USA. The mounting plate used to install these enclosures is sold separately. Choosing the right junction box for your project is not an easy task. Contact a Pacer expert with any questions that you may have.
