Enclosures are built to encase wire connections. They also serve to protect them from short circuits. Using enclosures can contain or even prevent fires in an electrical system. Pacer's enclosures 18 x 16 are made with the marine environment in mind. It is made in accordance with the Joint Industrial Council (JIC)-USA.
The mounting plate used to install these enclosures is sold separately. Choosing the right junction box for your project is not an easy task. Contact a Pacer expert with any questions that you may have.
