When attempting to cut thick cables, a ratcheting cable cutter is pretty much a necessity. Pacer carries the Ideal® Ratcheting Cable Cutter, which is designed to cut 750 KCMIL (MCM) and smaller hard-drawn copper and aluminum cables. This makes it perfect for use with Pacer's marine battery cable. Each tool has hardened steel blades, which ensure long-term durability in even the toughest conditions. The maximum jaw opening of this tool is 2". It is important to note that this tool is not designed for cutting steel or ACSR.
