Disconnect terminals are designed for quick connection and disconnection of two wires. Nylon fully-insulated disconnect terminals are perfect for use where field maintenance may be an issue. They allow the user to separate the connection as needed. Nylon fully-insulated terminals are designed to hold long term. Each male tab comes with a hole that mates with the female terminal. A small protrusion on the female terminal fits into the hole ensuring they won't come apart. In this way, they can be connected indefinitely or disconnected as needed. Nylon fully-insulated disconnect terminals are available in a variety of sizes and styles. Their color coded insulation makes selecting the correct size a breeze. Red insulated terminals are for use with 22-18 AWG wire. Blue insulated terminals are for use with 16-14 AWG wire. Yellow insulation is used for 12-10 AWG terminals.
