C-series Magnetic circuit breakers are affected strictly by current. This means that they are not affected by temperature as other breakers may be. C-series breakers cannot be forcibly held on. As the current exceeds the amount specified by the breaker, the circuit will then open. This is one of the many reasons that these breakers are so popular. Look at the chart above to see the interrupting capacity. Selecting the correct magnetic breaker for your application is not an easy task. Contact a Pacer expert today.
