BHW is coated internally with a dual-purpose thermoplastic liner that flows and encapsulates when heated. When cooled, the tubing offers the mechanical strength of a superior adhesive and the corrosion protection of a high-quality mastic.
Insulation varies with different types of wires; different diameters or tubing may actually be required. When choosing a size, consider any components or connectors that may need to be covered.
Applications:
- Splice sealing
- Primary insulation
- Cable/jacket repair
- Direct burial/submersible
- Strain relief
Compliances:
- MIL-I-23053/15 Class 1
Features:
- Highly abrasion and impact resistant
- Easy installation, shrinks when heated over 120 °C
