Blank & Misc. Switch Covers
Switches serve a variety of purposes on a boat. Whether you're using a depth finder, radio, or even a bilge pump, it's usually handled by a switch. Switch covers are commonly labeled by the task the switch handles.
Why use blank switch covers? Well, suppose your panel has the print directly above or below the switch itself. There would be no need to have the switch labeled as well. As an added bonus, blank switch covers are generally less expensive. It is for reasons like this that Pacer Group offers blank switch covers.
What is the difference between the Windlass DPLY/RTRV and the Windlass Power switch covers? Well, the DPLY/RTRV (Deploy/Retrieve) controls your anchor. Whether you want to lower it or raise it. Some boat builders have an added safety feature which is the Windlass Power switch. This switch controls the power to the Windlass DPLY/RTRV. So if your boat had both switches, you would need to activate the Windlass Power before you could use the DPLY/RTRV. Need help selecting the right switch cover for your boat? We're here to help.
